Sugar Minott, starts off the show with 'Trying To Fool I', from his Uptempo Showcase album, done over a classic Studio 1 riddim. Al Campbell, is up next with one of his finest 12" releases ever, 'Foot Stool' The vocal-group, Mystic Eyes gives us 'Linger Awhile', featuring some mighty fine vocals from Anthony Johnson. We then check Michael Prophet, and 'Love And Unity' with a wild dubmix from Scientist.
Bob Marley, the king of Reggae steps forward with 'Trench Town' and a extended version to boot! Lee Perry does his signature tune, 'I Am The Upsetter' with DJ Dennis Alcapone following, toasting over the riddim. We then hear from the Two Ton Machine and the title track to their 1984 album, 'Chinatown'. Two Ton Machine led by Burning Spear drummer Nelson Miller. To end side A, we hear one from singer Cornell Campbell-'Jah Jah Gives Us Love', from the LP 'Cornell Campbell meets the Gaylads with Sly & Robbie' on the Culture Press label. Thanks again to Pappa Dave and the crew...
